Chang Wufei

Behold a very fun doujinshi Wufei. Originally from Gundam Wing, Wufei is a wonderfully complex character who has quite lodged himself into my "favorite" position.

The text is from two of Wufei's image songs (songs written specifically for the character), which you can view here.

If you want to know more about him, you can read here. I don't usually make fansites for these charas, but Wufei tends to be misrepresented - he deserved the spotlight time. ~_^

Well, today was the National Day of Prayer in the good ol' USA. If you believe in such things, hope you got the chance to just stop for a few minutes today and do it. ^^

Okay. And... JUST when you thought PETA couldn't get any weirder... they tried to get Hamburg, New York to change its name to Veggieburg. Offered them $15,000 worth of non-meat patties if they'd do it. Gee, I wonder why they refused....

Happy Maying. ^_^ Have some newsflashes:

Terror Organizations Say They΄ll Continue The Fight - Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and the Al-Aksa Brigades announce they have no plans to disarm.

Terrorists Have Support Back Home - Palestinians support terrorism.

Abu Mazen not terrorism-free - connected with one of the 20th century's most infamous terrorist crimes: the massacre of 11 Israeli athletes, including American citizen David Berger, at the Olympic Games in Munich, Germany in 1972.

Tada. Eh, heh... ^^;;;

Heh heh heh. This is a highly amusing "simplified screenplay" of The Two Towers for a non-Tolkien-reader. Very cute. Must read.

Oh, and Nimil/Jenny? 'Twas entirely my pleasure.

Happy crack of dawn, people. @_@

First of all, thank you and you and you for the quick responses re: LJ vs. Blog; I HAD been wondering. ~_^ Oh, and it's nice to meet you, Jenny. ^_^.

In other news, my Dragonball Z page (Baka's Guide to DBZ - under construction, very under construction) is back up and running. Took me a while to get it going again, but eh... you do what you have to. ~_^ Not all the pages are up, but everything that's there SHOULD work - and it's all been re-organized and stuff, too. much fun.

Hokie-day. Enjoy. (*can't believe she just typed that....*)

Okay, question for the thinkers and doers out there:

Why do people have both a livejournal AND a blog?

Shoe-Bomber finally given judgment.

I have a couple of things to say here. Number one, this judge rocked. Number two, the things Reid was saying are frightening - very frightening.

Number three is a reiteration of number one: this judge rocked. Let me show you why:

The judge also sparred with Walker [Reid's attorney] over Reid's story that Islam had rescued him from a life of drugs and petty crime.

"He was on the edge of the abyss," Walker said. "Islam kept him from it. He had the good luck to find something he felt saved him."

When Walker suggested that there was no more "personal hatred" in Reid, the judge responded, "Well, we don't tolerate impersonal hatred either."

And when Walker said that there are "millions of people around the world" who hold anti-American views and are not sentenced to prison, the judge shot back, "They don't go around trying to blow up planes."

Very. VERY good judge. And the things Reid said... dear freaking hell.... Read them for yourself and realize that all the followers of Bin Laden are pumped full of that malarkey; then think where it's going to lead.

If you believe in God at all, pray.

Heh heh heh. Hollywood Halfwits - this site is GREAT. Heh heh heh.

...you know how sometimes, when you're just surfing around, you hit things by accident that you hadn't meant to hit?

I just found me some sort of whacko fic with Dom!Subaru.

"Yes, Sumeragi Subaru sat alone in the apartment of Sakurazuka Seishirou, wearing a pair of lace up, skin-tight leather pants and a mesh shirt."

I stopped there. Because I was laughing. And because it hurt. And... oh, dear Lord. I need to go cleanse my eyes....

Hee hee. Happy Belated Birthday, DNA. ^_^ (No, I mean it - they discovered DNA on the 23rd. REALLY. Okay, 50 years ago, but still... :D)

Teacher's Aide Given One-Year Suspension for Wearing Cross to School

Okay, guys. This one has me a little scared. Come on - whether it's an Islamic headdress or a small cross necklace, you should have the right to wear something you believe you should wear. I reaaaaaaaaaally doubt anybody is going to think that because somebody wears a Star of David that means the public school system is Jewish.

Duh. >_<

Consummatum - updated. Next chapter and perspective done. ^_^ I'm gonna try to finish this sucker, too. For lo, I am insane. MUAHA!! ^_^

Er... just go read. ^^

Tuesday, April 22, 2003 | • - • | 11:39 p.m.

Mmm... nothing much of interest to say today. I didn't do much. *cheers for that* Tomorrow it's back to the grindstone, though. ^_^ I plan to get a whole bunch of writing done this next week, if I can manage it... I'm encouraged enough by the fact that I was able to end Mind of a Prince (and thanks SO much to everyone who commented - I'm being incredibly lazy just now and won't reply directly. ^^; ) that I'm going to *gasp* try to finish OTHER fics.

Of course, I've started two more. There is no hope for me.

Anyway, just so's ya know, I'm beginning a New and Different thing tomorrow. It's so New and Different that I'm not going to say what it is yet - after all, I might go through with it, and that would be embarassing. XD

Now after THAT buildup, you're all going to be expecting something really bizarre like a sex change operation, and I can promise you it's not that.

It's not even that weird.

Really.

Woo... Easter... is... DONE!! And yes, I know that technically "easter" (i.e., the whole Jesus is actually not-dead thing) is year-round, but lemme tellya: this was an absolutely INSANE holiday to prepare for.

There were musicians to arrange, choir rehearsals to organize, twenty people (choir) to host in my house, piano to be played, songs to sing, instrumentalists to coordinate -

Maybe I should get an assistant. Ha ha.

Anyway, will talk more tomorrow; currently, I just need sleep. Sleeeeeep...

(P.S. If Julie sees this: Gotta call you. Dad had an idea - just wanna run it by you.)

Monday, April 21, 2003 | • - • | 11:25 a.m.

*waves to the world* I AM alive - sorry for my absence. I probably won't be able to get online for real until tomorrow - even this time right here is stolen. ^^;; Hopefully I'll get some time to at least catch up on my emails...

*chanting: almost done with Easter performances, almost done with Easter performances, almost done with Easter performances....*
