![]() Tuesday, February 4, 2003::02:43 p.m. Eep. The radio station my dad broadcasts on Mon-Fri is going off the air permanently at the end of the month. o_O This isn't good from a purely practical standpoint; getting on another station in under a month is going to be difficult. But you know, this is where it's a good thing we believe God is sovereign. No one's upset. Nobody's fussing. We ARE working hard to try to find another station, of course, but everybody's doing it with a smile - because we really DO believe that God's in control of the whole mess. Nothing like fire to put your beliefs to the test, ne?
Monday, February 3, 2003::11:24 p.m. Lookit - I altered the layout a little. Why? Because I got new brushes for photoshop and I was bored with all the white. Yatta. ^_^ Man, was tonight's class awesome; we talked about everything from Hinduism to the parallels of the gospels. Really quite awesome having someone teaching who can read straight from the original Greek and Hebrew. ~_^ Okay. Enough for now. *runs*
Saturday, February 1, 2003::05:42 p.m. All I will say is this: any day that begins by requiring your father to crawl THROUGH your window because your door is jammed so tightly that even the hinges won't come off is bound to be interesting. That is all.
Saturday, February 1, 2003::01:09 a.m. *chuckles weakly* Thanks for this, Isa. Also, you forgot to add one thing: It's a HUGE jump for Subaru to be the killer from when we saw him last. Last bit with Subaru, he was sitting on a building, in a complete depressive stupor, waiting for the thing to collapse beneath him so he could die. You wanna tell me how he went from that to STRANGLING people? It honestly doens't make sense. Meh. CLAMP, you SUCK.
Friday, January 31, 2003::11:48 p.m. Well, I feel wonderful. We've been having calendarizing meetings - if you don't know what that means, then you are blessed among many. Basically, it means that we're creating a porphyry's tree (it's sort of a branching out thing you learn about in logic - absolutely the best way to break things down) for our business for the NEXT TEN YEARS - all our plans, all our projects, all the details we can figure out, everything we'll need... all of it, written down. Now of course, we're going to miss some details, and everything is negotiable; but this is how a ministry or business keeps its focus as whole and moves forward in the same direction. It's absolutely mind-numbing and time consuming, and requires HOURS of work among the administration - which, as the head of my department, I am. Well, thursday sucked. SO much. All kinds of absurd accusations, etc. and so forth. Today, I thought, was going to be the same - but it wasn't. It turns out that the marketing expert who was leading our meeting happened to be a webmaster some time ago. He was able to explain to the rest of the administration on several levels what I do and what I DON'T do - such as come up with content for these websites I design. They actually got the point. And then when we mapped out all my responsibilities for just TWO of the websites I'm building for them... Oi, it was WONDERFUL. Suddenly when I suggested something else they'd already told me to do, they'd go, "oh no, not with all THAT on your plate," and things like that. FINALLY. They FINALLY get it. I might actually get some breathing room, people. For this, I do rejoice. ^^
Thursday, January 30, 2003::08:13 p.m. I made a Su-blog. A SAD Su-blog. For lo, CLAMP has made me sad. ....wah. ;_;
Wednesday, January 29, 2003::01:04 a.m. Okay, I'm on my way to bed, but... this really has me upset. You know those times we were going to have Subaru kill Hinoto, ha ha, because she deserved it? Nope. Apparently, he killed Kanoe instead. @_______@ What happened to "I'm not going to do anything?" AUGH! AAAAAAAAAUGH!!!!!!!!!!! *wails because there is NOBODY online to commiserate with*
Saturday, January 25, 2003::12:16 a.m. Hey all. I'm alive. I'm just... busy. @_@ We have a huuuuuuge conference tomorrow, and at present I can't even think about anything else. Yikes. I got the homework, Vega. ^_^ I will work on it as soon as I get the chance. That was a great idea! Signing off. *beeep* (...okay, YOU think of a clever tagline) |
ABOUT THIS LAYOUT This poor man is Sumeragi Subaru, who happens to be one of the best examples of character assassination in the world. Not that CLAMP didn't do a good job with it, mind; it just hurts a whole lot. Subaru was the main character of Tokyo Babylon, and after his life was ruined there, he carried on to X 1999 - which is about a whole lot MORE characters than just Subaru, but they've done more damage to him than to most. This picture is from the March addition of Asuka, which publishes X serialized - just after he's APPARENTLY killed in cold blood for the very first time. You may now commence with screaming and pulling of hair. ABOUT THIS GIRL Favorite Quote of the Moment: "Goodbye. I am leaving because I am bored." - last words of George Saunders Name: (RL) Ruthanne, (OnLine) Trin Age: 27 (eek!) Sites: Occupation: full-time webmaster + full time music minister at a new church + more pulling out of hair Interests: Tokyo Babylon, X1999, Gundam Wing, Dragonball Z, Utena, Slayers,Yami no Matsuei (anime, in other words ^_^), writing, music, HTML contact
