I know this coming year is going to be an important one; it's going to be scary in a lot of ways, with terrorism rising to a peak and danger in countries all over the world.

I know this is going to be a powerful year for relationships, at least in my life; this is the first time that the adults around me have viewed me also as an adult, and that carries with it both joy and responsibility.

I know this is going to be a frightening year - a lot of issues are involved, including healthy, dealing with my family, continuing my education; but at the same time, I feel very confident that these things will all be successfully dealt with. If there's one thing I've learned, it's that if you're content, you can handle anything.

I've even learned that I have friends in unexpected places. ^_^ Thanks especially to the people who've come out of the woodwork to help me this year.

I find that now, at the end of the last palandromic year I'm going to see in my lifetime, I feel very happy. 2002 was good; 2003 is going to be even better.

And there's the end of my hoky thoughts. ~_^
