Part one of Love's Weakness has been redone yet again; I finally took my own advice (thanks, Manzai ~_^) and just started over with it. That is to say - kept WHERE I was going, but rewrote the path to it without looking at what I'd already written.

And on another note, expect (a) more X/Tokyo Babylon fanfic soon - I just saw the X movie, and it was DRATTED weird, and I'm feeling inspired. ^_^ Also, (b) some work done on a fic I'm doing with a friend - a fun crossover Mary Sue kind of deal with prophecies and random Egyptians and other mind-bending stuff.
And on ANOTHER random note, I'm being impossibly lazy and just copying this from the message I sent out on the mailing list. ^_^ I'm really terrible. I should be beaten.

I'm going to give more info tomorrow... at the moment, I'm very upset for the same reasons (and familial source) that Taryn was upset yesterday. Only I don't HAVE fifty more bucks to blow on anime. *weak smile* I'll have to find another source of stress relief. >_<

Oh, this is going to be SUCH FUN!! *dances* Tomorrow we go online to get the tickets, and then spend as much time as is humanly possible at the thing from Thursday to Sunday. Of couse, we all have work, and other such responsibilities... but DANG this is gonna be fun! ^_^

I'd want Seishirou - and I'm 100% positive that almost everybody who joins wants Seishirou. *sighs* -_- I hate being part of a crowd... ~_^
Oh, and allow me to mention that I have joined the AMT - basically Against Subaru Lameness. ^_^ Suffice it to say that it can be a bit annoying to see Subaru portrayed... well, as he was in the OVA's; weak, kind of useless, very UKE - and if you don't know what that term means, DO ask me. *coughs*
I rather like the idea of this wee clique - hence, I have joined. ^_^ Now if only there were one protecting Wufei's manliness, I'd be a happy fangirl... ~_^
URGENT!!! For any of you that can get it, I've been told that the Action Channel (I have NO idea which cable channel that is) is showing Tokyo Babylon OVA's this month - (and yes, it's O V A - Original Video Animation. Just found this out. ^_^). If it's available to you, then there you go... and if not, no fears. I'm working on uploading it all as we speak. ^^;;
In other news, I redid my blog again. ^_^ And I know it's a bit rough, and takes forever to load, but I LIKE it. *chuckles*
Just as a thought, apparently Fushigi Yuugi is the "oh, HELL" series. I thought the first part was bad - from what I'm picking up of the second, it's VERY bad.
Blah - I can't wait to finish it up. ^_^
I'm just glad the utterly ridiculous shoujo-ness lessened a bit. *chuckles* Darkness in the storyline does that.
I DID find it interesting that the animation changed drastically part-way through; I guess they hired a new art director, or something....
And you know, Nakago is REALLY evil. I'm beginning to think I'm going to have to torture him more in my fic. Of course, they've all got it coming, so to speak - but you know... Nakago REAAAAAALLY deserves it.

And I missed the online registration for the Anime Expo! Argh! *swats self* Feh - well, I know what I'll be doing Wednesday... *sighs* Waiting in line is no fun! Wah!

This Anime Expo is going to be SO much fun - I just wish I'd had more time. For now, I'm satisfying my urge by wearing a cute little white outfit with gloves and hat that has daisies - large, not-drawn ones - all over it. Hokuto wore that in... erm... well, feh. I forget which book, but she DOES do it - hence, I shall find it. And scan it. And post it online. ^_____^
Next year's costume project: Full onmyouji robes. Altogether now: ooooooooooh.... ~_^ |
