Hey - Takira, Manzai, I'm home today - was told to stay home from church because I look ill and sound like a 30-year smoker. >_< Fricking cold...
Hence, I'll be online somewhere between 10-12 my time, for certain. *wonders if Vega will be available, too...*

Hm. Okay, I was GOING to go to bed. Recall how I mentioned da family = insane tonight? Weeeeelll...
*coughs* Guess who had to clean the kitchen, etc. because nobody else was going to do it? *raises hand* However, one good thing did come out of it.
While folding linen (don't ask), my brother and I were discussing the aspects of 80's cartoons vs. today's; he's been reading reviews at this site and laughing his head off. And then, he suggested something which - at this forsaken hour of the morning - struck me as quite funny. Strawberry Shortcake meets X.
Strawberry Shortcake: "Where's Blueberry Muffin?"
Fuuma, a la generic bakery product: "Here's her eye."
....well, it was funny at the TIME...

Woo. Apparently, angst is good for my writing. Me family hath flipped out quite badly; so: I hid in my room and wrote. ^_^;;
It's quite short, but it makes me happy. Subaru - post X16, post Seishirou-eyeball. Saa; serves me right for thinking about him so much of late - ~_^

Blargh. (forgive - ill-feeling-rantedness hereabouts) Yup - I'm definitely sick. Stomach's been being weird (been BEING weird? You know, that's just freaky enough I'm gonna leave it unedited) for a few days and now I have that whole throat-tickle thing. Wah. ;_; I gotta figure out what's wrong with my immune system, man; I swear it's gone on strike.
Oh, and this is frustrating me. I have chapter five; but it's not a very GOOD chapter five. In fact, I personally feel it sucks. >_< Sooooo must work on that; in all the free time I...er... will claim from other projects... or something. ~_^
Hm - we might be going to see "Eight Legged Freaks" today. To be honest, the movie doesn't look THAT spectacular, but eh - my dad's a boy, so... *leaves that as Enough Said* ~_^
...well heck, he IS paying. ~_^
Meep. Thanks, Lilack -and I hope you're feeling better soon! ^_^ I'm rather glad you're you, anyway. Oh, and I like Smallville, too; I REALLY enjoyed the eps I've seen this summer - which, admittedly, are few, but those I saw DID rather rock. Oh, and - red fanta? o_O
And silly you. As if star-cuteness determined whether or not it could be any good... *lofty look* *is promptly shot down by hypocrite haters* ~_^
*dies* *just... dies* WATARI AS K****? THE EARL AS F****?! GAAAAH!! *explodes*
Congratulations. You have successfully broken my brain. (Hey, that's not such an easy task... ~_^ Well, I'D like to think so, anyway.) I DID tell you I love you, right? ^___^ *feeds your muse espresso beans*
Wooo, Camp, Whitecat? Heh - I did that. A music camp, actually, which means that during "business" hours I spent time making sure the little rats (er, kids, KIDS, I said KIDS) were practicing. How bizarre is that, ne? ~_^
Actually, I DID thoroughly enjoy those two summers. It's something I would do again - if I could afford to get that really lousy pay. <_<;
Hee hee, thanks, K. ^_^Y And what in the world is this consultant DOING there anyway? Forgive me for asking, but given the situation... is this person even a Christian? (one MIGHT think that the consultant for a Christian church should at least have the same goals. But hey - the world's nuts. You never know. )
Hey, Julie - ever find out just why the glorious Angela Powell-Walker has not gotten back to you? Feh on HER. >_<
*pokes Tigger again* Sorry I missed your call last night - I was with my choir until almost ten, which would have been absurdly late your time. >_< I'll try to get the chance to call you this weekend, hopefully.
...MY choir. Heeeee. ^_____^
*snickering* Okay, this is just too weird:

You are Thoth, the most intellectual of the egyptian gods. You savor the muses in all their forms, and you'd rather observe than take action. You are considered peerlessly just, and so you are often considered the arbiter of the gods.
What Egyptian Deity are you? go to:the quiz!
Eh, I can deal with that. ~_^ Thanks, Icegaze. ^_^
*chuckles weakly* Yes, Kunika - the world is a very stupid place. Hence, why I am officially techno-hermit. Yosh.
Eeee... yep, tetnus shots hurt, Chaos. >_< BTW - where is Leash lately? I know I've been out of the loop for a while, but I haven't seen her post in a bit. Hope all is well. ^_^ Oh, and GO your mom. That is SO awesome... (finishing a degree AFTER you've had kids? You know how few people actually DO that? WOW!)
*laughs* Well, Leareth - that would be why, as much as we love our parents, we don't always let them in on what we're doing. -_-; Eh... generation gaps are scary things. Not to mention the anime you watch is probably about as "bad." ~_^ ("but it's good for the imagination," Trin says. Doh... inside voice, INside voice...)
....meep. That's quite the entry, Theerah. o_O Never occurred to me that Dr. Who could be THAT inspiring. ^^;
*snickering* Anti-Card Captors website? Oh, dear heavens... Out of curiosity - since I've never even SEEN the thing - are we talking dubbed or subbed? May I remind you, these things make a scary amount of difference. -_-;
Mou... Sick, Becky-chan? Erm... drink tea? ^_^; Green tea can be good for tummies. I think. ^^; And a lot of good thoughts there on X and Sei/Su etc. Although I'm still miffed at CLAMP for everything they're doing. That and - well, ya know... was thinking about the whole Subaru-similar-to-Kamui thing the other day with a friend (or Kamui-similar-to-Subaru. Whichever.) and we realized something.
Subaru is Subaru - and in spite of similarities, is really NOT Kamui. Kamui, for example, could never be involved in a Winamp skin like this one. (warning. This sucker's not for everybody, so don't download it if you're squickable.) Subaru - no matter what they do to him - could not in a million years look like that while licking somebody's freaking HAND.
But CLAMP had their images worked out. So basically -
They needed a Subaru they could whore with.
Bizarre statement, I know (and it's not mine, either - Takira has SUCH a way with words), but the more I think about it, the more I think it's true. Sigh. And to think I'm still actually holding out hope for a happy ENDING....
*laughs* RATPAD? Optimal mouse pad... stuffs! *snickers* Go you. (Whee, there ARE other geeks like me in the world....~_^)
*blinks* Wooo... straight Subaru? ^_^ Go you. Ya know, I still rather suspect that Subaru's more Seishirou-oriented than...erm... gender-specific. Honestly. It doens't matter WHAT gender Seishirou is -
.... eek. THERE'S a terrifying fanfic in the making. ~_^ *thinks somebody on ff.net probably DID it already* -_-;
*laughs* Well, nobody's going to get ME to complain about avoiding X16, Neko. ;_; *sniffle* And I hope you feel better! Geez, we're ALL getting sick around here - what IS this?
