Friday, September 20, 2002 | 04:52 p.m.New chapter to the Experiment fic, a.k.a. the crossover where five of the most beautiful/seductive/evil men of anime are put in a room and let loose. If you need to read it from the beginning, you can go here to do so. Oh, and Leareth - the ending of this chapter is your fault. My muse listened to you. I didn't WANT to put Him in there, I really didn't.... ~_^
Thursday, September 19, 2002 | 04:51 p.m.Chapter two is finished! YnM stuff... wheee... ^_^
Wednesday, September 18, 2002 | 12:08 p.m.I just did something utterly ridiculous and techy. It's making me giggle. I ordered pizza - online. Yup yup. pizzahut.com allows for such things - how's THAT for bizarre? ^_^
Tuesday, September 17, 2002 | 08:52 p.m.Two bits of news, one good, one sad: 1. DBZ fanfic update: Mind of a Prince chapter five is finally up and ready to read. 2. Dr. Hsu's father died today. ;_; Those of you who've been following me for a while will know he was my Yoda of piano - the most wonderful, wise, comforting, lovely man I've ever know. I love him like a father - and now, his is no longer with us. -_- I can say that he's in Heaven - was a true christian, if there ever was one. And I can also say that it's a relief he's finally out of pain - he's been in and out of a coma all week. But still. I wish I could be there for Dr. Hsu. So anyway - there ya go. Updated. ^^; P. S. oh, and btw - next is Consummatum, and then the Experiment fic. ^__^ I have it all planned out, see...
Sunday, September 15, 2002 | 02:25 a.m.Oh, and btw - Love's Labour Won - a.k.a., the Cumber fic - has been updated! Chapter three is now up and ready for reading. Enjoy! ^_^ (Yes, it's late. I can't sleep. Sue me. :p)
Saturday, September 14, 2002 | 10:45 p.m.GAH. Someone just tried to get into my house. Now, I know I've mentioned this before, but you have to understand - my father deals with dangerous stuff. He's one of the experts the FBI occasionally goes to regarding Islamic terrorist activity. One of the reasons we live where we do now is because the very public profile makes it safer. So... sure. It could have been somebody completely innocuous at our door - but if that's the case, then I have two questions: 1. Why did they show up with some sort of animals, scratching at the door, talking in the courtyard - without knocking or ringing the doorbell? 2. Why did they run off the moment I turned on the lights? Gah. And this AFTER my brother gets some crank call at his college with thinly veiled threats re: my dad. *shudder* You know... I've been thinking of taking up Karate again - I used to study it. Perhaps I really shouldn't put that off anymore.
Saturday, September 14, 2002 | 02:04 a.m.Just one note - this quote is absolutely one of the best I've ever seen: "Seishirou was obsessed with Subaru. Lisa-chan puts it well: "You know that Far Side cartoon, where "What dogs hear" is apparently "blah blah blah blah" except for their names? I get the feeling that's how Seishirou reacts to life. "Blah blah blah Subaru-kun. Blah blah blah blah blah Not-Subaru-kun blah blah. Blah blah Subaru-kun." and etc." You rock, Becky Marie. Well, you and Lisa. ^___^
Thursday, September 12, 2002 | 04:06 p.m.Woo. 9/11 over. And lemme tell you something - It. Was. INCREDIBLE. Don't think commercialized - this was anything but. This was something that the people there really needed to have: a bang-up, blow-down, gang-busting patriotic meeting. There were representatives on the platform from all over the world - indonesia, africa, china, italy, filippines, israel, and more - and all of them spoke eloquently about the damages Islamic terrorism have done in their countries and how wonderful America was - because they HAD the freedom to do and be what they wanted to be. We actually had brigadier general Erem Shimon there, from Israel - really amazing. And now, I have to admit I'm pooped. I even planned to do more with this blog layout - there are song lyrics I want to add - but I'm too tired to do it right now. We had - lessee...
1. A large band - all of whom were under my charge and none of whom had had time to rehearse together, so this was totally seat-of-the-pants stuff. It went absolutely GREAT. People were weeping openly in this thing. Maaaaan... Oh, and I got to wear my senior recital gown again. ~_^ *I* was pleased. So anyway - I'm crashing now. Need sleep - need rest. Wish I could have about a week to recover right now. ^^; Ja.

ABOUT THIS LAYOUTSeishirou Sakurazuka. Sexy. Powerful. Comes equipped with a great big spirit-bird. What more can you want? Seishirou is featured in CLAMP's Tokyo Babylon, as well as X1999. He's by far one of my favorite (and tragic, but that's his OWN freaking fault) characters, and makes an excellent foil for Sumeragi Subaru - who happens to be one of my OTHER favorite characters. Convenient. For more information, just do a search for "tokyo babylon." You'll get all the info you wanted, and lots of pretty eye candy. Can't get much better than that. Oh - and the lyrics are from Garbage's "The World Is Not Enough." Just in case you were wondering. |
