Sakurazuka Seishirou

Yeah, I know - been SO long since you saw this guy up here, huh? ~_^

Say hello to Seishirou from Tokyo Babylon and X1999, about which you can learn much from sites like this.

I can't say I'm happy with how CLAMP (the artists) ended up treating him, or for that matter how he treats Subaru - but what's one to do? He's an amazing character, utterly complex (forced me to write a one-shot for him, the creep), and rawther attractive to boot. Even if he does smoke.

It's a Japanese thing. XP

Anyway, for this layout, I experimented using Photoshop 7 brushes. It's as close to "grunge" as I've ever gotten, and I'm kinda pleased how it turned out.

Although I DO miss the red-Wu layout. ~_^

So there you go. Enjoy. ^_^

(P. S. - that "testify my ice cream" thing? It's from here. Suffice it to say that someone wrote a Tokyo Babylon fic in another language then Babelfished it into English - with disasterous results.)

Yes, Leareth - Tokyo Babylon translated into English, IF everyone goes here and fills out the form. *crosses fingers* Just be warned, folks. I'm gonna be pushing this for a while. ~_^

In other news, I've decided to go on vacation regardless if anyone is coming with me or not. I'm BEAT. And... am going to Celine's graduation tonight. And... dealing with carpet cleaner tomorrow.

And anything else? I dunno. I'm considering posting some other fics I've started, but not until the wee information pages are done. Because I'm a great big freak. :D

So anyway. Ja. ^_^

Wednesday, May 21, 2003 \\ 04:40 p.m.

ATTENTION: If you want to see Tokyo Babylon reprinted and translated, then click here and fill out the form.

I talked to the people from Tokyo Pop today. They're the ones who did Clamp Campus Detectives - they kept in the honorifics! And they kept in the holidays! And they put in teeny explanations about Japanese culture!! HOOYAA!!!

Anyway. Go. Sign. Submit. PLEASE. ^__^ Our fabulous scanlations exist because the wonderful and hardworking Leareth was dedicated enough to put them up - since, after all, an official translation looked impossible. But I SPOKE to the LA office of Tokyo Pop today; they were very optimistic. If we show enough interesting....

Man - to have reprints in my hand, in English, that I could give to people and share the addic - er, the joy? That is SO worth filling it out.

Go. Sign. Submit. And I'll love you forever. :D

(P. S. If you can't think of two other titles you want, heck - just fill out TB for all three. What harm could it do? ~_^ And PLEASE REMEMBER TO SPREAD THIS LINK - post it elsewhere! If people submit their requests... magic could happen.)

...oooookay. I'll do social blogging later, I promise, but you have GOT to read this first.

We get some weird folks who come to us sometimes. Dad's on the radio Mon.-Fri., so that's part of the reason. But there's also the fact that he's one of those rare people who's willing and able to say what he believes without fear, without anger, etc. and so forth - and that can really tick some people off.

Guy shows up today in church.

Guy - claiming to be a Christian - causes a slightly humorous stir by freaking out in the middle of the service and shooting out some very harsh criticisms that that it's not right to criticize (hello, contradiction?).

Guy is gently reprimanded and apologizes. Problem over? HARDLY.

Soundman happens to bend down to fix a wire and spots, duct-taped under one of the front-row seats, a small tape recorder.

Security check the tape recorder. On it is a prayer to Lucifer - clearly in this guy's voice - putting a curse on my dad and our church. He'd come in two hours before we arrived to plant it.

Guy is summarily ejected.

Okay. How many of you can say you had a Satanist in disguise curse YOU today?

I do have to say that it really does make me realize I'm following the right deity. Ironically enough, today we're studying Psalm 16 - which happens to be a passage praising God for being a kind of 24/7 bodyguard because everything that happens has to get past Him first.

And people wonder why I don't believe in chance....

*waves* Am alive. Rushing. And... mom's birthday and NO sleep for any of us will talk more later. *puffpuffpuff* Oh, and before I forget, here's a fun quote:

"If you really want to lose weight, there are only three things to give up: breakfast, lunch, and dinner."
     - Benjamin Franklin

Oh, and before I forget again: I'm silly, so I drew my mother a birthday card.

...I DID mention I can't draw worth moldy mushrooms, right?

Thursday, May 15, 2003 \\ 08:17 p.m.

Fic update! New chapter and perspective up for Consummatum. Boy, I'm pumping this thing out... ^___^

Wednesday, May 14, 2003 \\ 11:24 p.m.

You know, I have no idea who this guy is, but I like the anti-results. ~_^

I'm the Anti-Ken!
I love my manga and anime, and I'll scream if someone tells me to stop writing that fanfic and get out more.

Wednesday, May 14, 2003 \\ 08:32 p.m.

Sigh. No vacation-with-Julie for me. ;_; While that's sad, I do have to say that I'm pleased that her living situation is going to change; it's amazing what God does to help people.

In other news, I have a very happy update. I didn't mention that I was bitten by a spider; however, I was - right on my ring finger, just beside the fingernail. 'Twas quite horrible; it swelled up and sent slivers of pain all the way to my elbow for days. Very messy, too; won't go into that, though.

Well, I'm happy to say that it's FINALLY gone down. No more... leakage.

I have never been so relieved to see my own normal, short, stubby fingers in my life.

Wasn't THAT fun to read? >:D

Wednesday, May 14, 2003 \\ 02:43 p.m.

Yup. Got another quick response email, and it's definitely after-hours for them now. I'm impressed. Well, that makes it official:

NOTE TO ALL VISITORS

Trinsan.com will be changing servers in the near future. This means that there MAY be a day or two when your ISP cannot reach the site. PLEASE DON'T PANIC!

Hopefully, this will remove the problem I've been having lately with downtime. I apologize to you all for the inconvenience.

...yoink. :D

Worldzone Update

Dear Worldzone Members,

An attempt at a security breach was made yesterday. An abuser uploaded a Trojan to our server from one of our member accounts and tried to run it from our main server. Our security measures caught the Trojan before it could do any damage but we were forced to shut down the servers to keep the abuser out while we removed the Trojan, infected files, and any back doors that were attempted to be installed.

We apologize for the extreme measures we had to take with this matter. Our main priority is to protect the web sites you have worked so hard for. We will now be checking our systems one by one to make sure that all programs and files are functioning correctly. We will email if any extensive maintenance needs to be made to our machines.

Please email webmaster@worldzonepro.com or post in our forums at www.worldzonesupport.com if you have any questions.

Thank You,
The Worldzone Group, LLC

Mmmm... helpful, but still. I'm thinkin' I'm going to move. Worldzone used to have the very best customer support out there - but now, they're no longer answering emails. I tried.

HOWEVER -

Leareth, if you see this, I've found another host that is faaaaaar better and far cheaper - AND they answer emails 24/7 within minutes. I've tested them by plying with questions.

Let me know if you want to get in with these guys. ~_^

Wednesday, May 14, 2003 \\ 02:12 a.m.

Hm. My site's down. Again. I don't know WHY my site's down, either; however, this kind of weird little possibility is the reason I keep my blog separate from my site - every once in a while, it's handy.

Of course, I also have no images. -_-; Ah, well. Enjoy the Satsuki-like green glowing... kinda thing.

If you're using IE. If you're using Netscape, I love you, but you're gonna be bored. :D

Hokay. To beeeed....

(Oh, P. S.: I'm doing Clamp Campus Detective fic. I am SUCH a geek. <_<)
