*looks at the time as she's FINALLY finishing work for the UNGRATEFUL wretch - er, her lovely and endearing coworkers*

Ya know, I should put a clock on here... not just a clock showing YOUR time, but MY time as well - would be interesting to see by how much I and you are missing each other, ne? ~_^

*laughing* Okay, new quote:

"Love your enemy - it'll drive him nuts."

Is that GREAT or what? I don't know who said it first yet... looking into that. ^_^

Ooh, blog discussion! ^_^

Observations on Taryn's response to Lilack's Seishirou rant - which, for obvious reasons, I happen to like. ~_^

1. You can read Japanese, apparently. *gloms*

2. I thought "suki" meant LIKE - and "dai suki" had to do with REALLY liking. In class, we were taught that that could be applied to things like FOOD, you know? And friends, even. I wasn't shown that there were connotations for romantic love there - what am I missing? *hopes for info*

3. I agree as to why Seishirou broke Subaru's arm - had to do with PROVING that Subaru meant nothing to him. Sort of a testing - "there, see, I DID it, HA, I am UNTOUCHABLE..."

Okay, maybe not quite like that, but you get the idea. ~_^

4. I also agree that Subaru DID mean something to him... and I bring up the point again:

Assuming that Seishirou would KNOW what he felt was "love" (...or whatever bizzaro twisted version of it HE has >_<) would like be assuming a blind man would know what colors were the first time he saw them. Seishirou had SOMETHING for Subaru... enough so that Subaru's (apparent) lack of "special love" for him made him genuinely angry.

Not to mention...

Did you ever think about the fact that REALLY.. when it came to love, the only examples Seishirou had were (a) whatever incestuous weirdness he felt for his mother, and (b) what other people said?

I sincerely doubt whatever he experienced matched what other people said - at ALL. I say again... there's no way he could - at least, at first - recognize it for what it was.

5. As to the mocking Subaru's desire for revenge in book eight, I do believe I disagree with that for one reason: in book (I forget which number *blush*) when Fuuma and Seishirou are talking, Fuuma tells Seishirou that it is NOT Subaru's wish to kill him - and Seishirou is surprised.

I really don't think it had occurred that Subaru would want anything other than revenge.

6. And as to all the comments about book sixteen, allow me to now wail. Lots. And not stop because I don't HAVE book sixteen. *sniffles* I don't KNOW anyone who has book sixteen. I WANT BOOK SIXTEEN!

*coughs* Erm, ravenous book-hunger aside, that means I have no idea about most of those scenes and can't comment... so there's more Hokuto-Seishirou flash-back action? I had NO idea!! *pulls hair out*

Dang. I can't wait to see that thing. ^_^

Okay - end rant.

*proceeds to use blog to avoid having to write lots of emails*

Vega, dear - the intro, and parts one, two, and three are up for WPIP... and I'm actually HAPPY with them. Oi, THAT doesn't ever happen, does it? ^_^ Lemme know if you like the format.

*waves at Manzai - you around, dear? I'm going to be busy as all heck tomorrow - late class on Thursdays, recall... so I dunno if I can do another chapter. -_- Friday, however, seems more promising. ^^

Woo, Takira... just HOW mean do you want to be to these people? *grins* Had an idea regarding said devil's conscience and stuff... I think we can make it QUITE angsty.

And... well, there we go. Private messages on view for the world to see! Whee! ~_^

Going to bed now. ^_^

Blaaaaaarg... okay, to summarize...

There was a lot of shouting at work today. Not AT me or BY me, very fortunately - although some wee bit of it was ABOUT me.

*sighs* Certain members in my family need to be medicated very badly... that's all I'm going to say on the issue. ^^

And in other news...

Gomen to anyone who's been trying to email me! FOUR people out of the blue sent me a ton of DBZ fanart, and it filled up my mailbox. I have no complaints - just some warning would have been nice. ^^

Lesse, what else... OOH! I'm planning on going to the Anime Convention next month! WHEE! Aaaaaaaand.. *chuckles* I'm going as Hokuto (I think.)

Hey, what other excuse would I have to dress up THAT absurdly and dance around in public? FUN!

Oh, and for your amusement...

CHIBI KAMUI!!

I'm logging in on my dad's computer at the moment. I feel quite wicked. ~_^

Adding a new blog - I already showed you Lilack's layout, and she just linked to ME - the darling. She also agrees with me about Seishirou's POV regarding Subaru - definitely good to know I'm not totally out there on that one. ^^;;

And I'll have to check out that character she mentioned... "Char Aznable." I've heard OF him, but... *coughs* I know nothing. ^_^;; A combo of Zechs AND Treize? @_@;; *brain sizzles*

And... now, I REALLY need to get off this comp and back to work. ~_^

Hm... you know, just as a random thought, Treize Kushrenada is a bizarre character to write. I've been trying to get into his head for well over an hour now, and it's very, very difficult.

What do you do with a man who easily sacrifices people to get to his goal, even going so far as to trick OTHER people into doing the killing for him... and on the other hand, keeps a list handy of every name, every individual who's died at his cause and (supposedly) mourns them? Who makes statements like, "Mankind needs a higher system than God," and then goes and gives weapons to his enemies, or lets them go? And yet at the same time...

Complex, I tell ye. Verrrrrrry complex... it's not quite giving me headaches yet, but I'm beginning to think once I'm done with this first part of chapter three I won't be able to DO anybody else for days...

Treize-mode. You know, that's kind of scary. @_@

Muaha! I have ARCHIVED MY PAGE!

...well, that was a thrill a minute. ~_^

Looks like the rest of this week is going to be busy again; They (being They at work, or The Hordes Of Ecumenical Yodlers, as Pinky and the Brain wisely told us) wish for me to get our entire product line online by Friday.

>_< Grf. I need to PRACTICE, people... *whimpers*

Ah, well. Unless something else goes wrong, expect to see a new chapter to The Bet (the GW fic) up soon, as well as some cross-over funn-ness at Vega's site. ^^

Oh, and Manzai - another chapter or three tomorrow. Yes? ^_^
