Hey folks - I AM alive. This is just a quick update so you know what's going on. [whine] 1. Dad had surgery. It went very well, but he's in serious recovery now, and thus can't do much. 2. Mom is bipolar. I don't think I shared that on LJ before, but it's sadly true - and at the moment, she's... ah... living up to her textbook reputation. ^^; That makes things hard, becuase she's in a depressive down-swing; she won't do a thing around the house. It's all falling on me. (Damnit, I wish I knew a less whiny way to say that.) 3. My back is killing me. @_@ Seriously. I sorta-kinda put it out because I had to take out the garbage bins, including the one filled with lawn and garden stuff - which was heavier than I am (I'm not kidding. This thing pulled ME down the driveway), and which I had to do myself because neither parent could (dad)/would (mom) help and it was 7:00am and I couldn't wait to say, call guys from the office to give me a hand. 4. No time to write = Trin go nuts. *puffpuffpuff* Okay. Done now. Sorry for the dumping. ^^: [/whine]

->comment? This was a weird day. 1. First of all, dad's okay now. He's out of the hospital again and on a lot of antibiotics; turns out he had some sort staph infection and mild pneumonia. Yeek. @_@ 2. Mild tragedy. I have accidentally erased my entire Favorites folder. How the heck did I do this, you wonder? I DON'T KNOW. >____< 3. Some random child in a grocery store today informed me I looked like a character from Yu Yu Hakasho, to which his sister went, "yeah, she does - now leave her alone." And then they went away. I dunno. You figure it out. o_O

->comment? Just in general. To sum up the day so far: 1. Dad's temp got up to 102, but the fever finally broke this morning; they're keeping him for today, and he won't even be flying back here unti lthe 18th. That's okay. I'd rather he be NEAR the hospital than FAR. 2. YAAAY! CONFIRMATION! TOKYOPOP HAS LICENSED TOKYO BABYLON!!!! I had heard the rumors, but... WOOOO!!!! That guy at Anime Expo DID tell me that it was because of all the customer requests... that means US, and that means that our plan WORKED! NOW - because after all, it DID work - so go HERE and fill out the survey for Yami no Matsuei! 3. I had a third thing. I have forgotten it. o_O

Dad's in the hospital again - er, for those of you who don't know, he had surgery to remove his appendix and gallbladder and some other things (all going back to the damage from that car accident a few years ago). His temperature rose to 102 today. ARGH. Sigh. I SO wish they weren't all the way in San Francisco... I can't possibly get there. Double sigh. -_-

->comment Bwah, I LOVE directing choir sooooo much! I think I wouldn't mind at all teaching this at the university level. ^___^ It just thrills me to hear them sing and learn as I teach them... I think this is gonna be really good. It also helps that they view me as all growed up. Ya know, that's pretty neat. ~_^
