Computer is back - but I can't use it. ;_; Turns out that they DID have to replace that piece of hardware (not-the-motherboard), and it changed something about the OEM - er, that's what I've been told, anyway. I have to reinstall my operating system, which woudln't be a problem -

Except that my disc has mysteriously disappeared. @_@

Well... MEH.

EEE! GETTING IT BACK TODAAAAAY! ^____^

(ignore the dragon. he is there for humor's sake, because I am morbid.)

Basically, they had to replace the system board (not exactly sure what that is - it's different from the mother board) and the keyboard. Woo.

*can't wait until 4:30 when it comes baaaaaaack*

(And yes, Buu, I see the comments. Fear not. ^_^ I guess my computer refreshes its cache more often, or something.

And mou, Isa... uwah. Your computer shall come! Eventually! Meeep....)

WAAAAI!! Dr. Lunde called meeee!

This is before my LJ days, so you might not know who he is; he's the chair emeritus of my alma mater, and one of the kindest, wisest, most dear men I have ever known in my life. He called me regarding some music I'd performed a few years ago - just some questions regarding part of the execution of the piece, but WAI!! He was just SO encouraging.

Make a note of this, folks; whenever you talk to people, unless there's a reason not to... try to be encouraging. It's an incredibly powerful thing. ^___^

Anyway - other news? Eh, there's a lot of news, but I don't feel like talking about it now, so blah. :D

Nobody will find a single mistake in your fics--not
a spelling error, not a grammar error, and
especially not a canonical mistake! You'd
probably be mortified at so much as even a
comma out of place. You work hard on your fics,
and does it ever show! Your plots are complex
and intelligent, and your characters are almost
perfect replicas of their canon counterparts.
Yours are the kind of fanfics people can get
lost in, and even forget they're not reading
the real thing! Thanks for writing such great
stuff. Just remember it's okay to losen up a
little.
