*waves wearily* Hey, all. I'm very happy to announce that my site is back up and running - all pages working, all info and links updated, all images uploaded.
*pants, wheezes, and dies*
Now. I will go to bed. Becase I have a choir rehearsal in the morning, another one sunday, and three more this upcoming week alone - and THREE performances.

Woo, what a day. LONG day. Loooong...
In order:
1. Universal Studios
2. Triple X the movie (considerably more interesting than the above)
3. Santa Monica Pier
4. Third Street Promenade (at which the musicians were making war. To our left was a 14-year-old Jazz trumpeteer - and to our right was a three-member Hispanic boi-band on guitar. It was cacophanic fun.)
At any rate, she's going home tomorrow - wah - and thusly, we are home and she is packing. And woooo... do I ever need to sleep. ^_^
BTW - site's back up. *cheers* I'm working on uploading files. Tomorrow I'll have access to DSL, so it'll go pretty quickly then.
Huzaah for phone lines. :p

HA! It IS a server error. ^_^ The bandwidth thing, that is. Bah - this sucks. I'm moving back to Worldzone.

Oh, and in other news, did the music seminar again today. It went GREAT!! I'm really surprised at myself - this is gonna sound weird, but...
It seems I'm turning into a *looks around* *whispers* teacher.
It's not on purpose, I swear - it's just sort of...HAPPENING. But I'm finding that I'm apparently good at it - and I LOVE it - and...
Well. This does affect what I plan to do for grad school, lemme tell ya. But ALSO lemme tell ya -
I was called a Shockey-child today by her, who KNEW Dr. Shockey (my favorite choir teacher in college). That utterly ROCKS. Nothing like having someone pinpoint aspects of your favorite teacher in your own teaching style. ^___^
Not to mention how WONDERFUL the "Ooh, I GET it!" look is on the faces of the people you're teaching.

Holy crap - we just did Disneyland. For TEN SOLID HOURS.
I DO mean solid. No break. No time out. We just went and went and went and got out of there at ten minutes to midnight and just made it home (and yes I'm online, but I can quit any time I WANT, damnit) and my feet feel like they were stabbed through with spears and Tigger's back has definitely seen better days but we had the time of our LIVES and we'd go back if we could.

Welcome back from vacation, K! ^_^ And... *hugs* for your mom. Man... will definitely keep you BOTH in prayer. And you know what you should tell her? There was this lady once - a wonderful lady, friend of my family. Christian, strong, just amazing - and she was married to the most awful person you've ever seen in your life. Well, my dad asked her once how she did it - this was after the two of them had had to swing her drunken husband OFF the floor and onto the sofa - and do you know what she said?
"I used to sit home and cry while he was out having affairs and wasting our money. But then one day, I realized - while I was sitting home crying, he was out PARTYING.
"I decided I wasn't going to give him that victory anymore. He could go out and do whatever he wanted - I, myself, was going to serve the Lord and not let his problems bother me."

Even when it's taking up more time than you can possibly give, you still can't really imagine doing anything else. It's something like a minor miracle. ^_^
